Honour for Roslin Glen
Roslin Glen Country Park has won Green Flag status for a second year running.
It recognises the hard work of the Midlothian Ranger Service, in partnership with groups such as the Lothian Conservation Volunteers, Criminal Justice Team and local volunteers.
Wildflower meadows and hedges have been planted by pupils from Roslin Primary, youth groups and Friends of Roslin Glen.
Parks are judged against eight criteria including being well-maintained and welcoming and safe, showing care for the environment, conservation and heritage.
