Indy debate Midlothian: Labour

As part of our ongoing debate on what Independence would mean for Midlothian, readers have submitted questions they would like the answers to before deciding how to vote in September’s referendum.

Today’s question, from Lynn Paterson, is:

“Given that Johanne Lamont has recently rediscovered “social Justice”. In the event of a No vote, will Scottish Labour return to it’s socialist roots and become once again a party of the working class, or will it remain in thrall to Westminster Labour who recently voted to cap benefits.”
