Indy debate Midlothian: Land commission

As part of our ongoing debate on what Independence would mean for Midlothian, readers have submitted questions they would like the answers to before deciding how to vote in September’s referendum.

Today’s question, from Chris Hampton, is:

“If the SNP haven’t done so already are there any plans by the SNP to set up a Land Commission and what sort of powers would the organisation have in the event of independence?” (Scotland’s land is owned by multi-millionaires, ex-pats, etc)
