Lasswade laser game bid on target

A laser gaming operation in Lasswade has been described as an “asset for the whole of Midlothian.”

The praise for Edinburgh Combat Challenge came at a recent meeting of Midlothian Council’s general purposes committee.

The firm, which has its sights set on becoming the county’s first business to offer laser gaming as a recreational activity, has successfully applied for a Public Entertainment Licence.

The committee unanimously backed plans for the operation at Lugton Bogs.
