Last ditch bid to save cafe
FOREST Cafe volunteers have launched a last-ditch campaign to raise enough money to buy the venue’s current premises.
Campaigners have been fighting to save the Forest’s Bristo Place home since owners Edinburgh University Settlement went into administration.
They have been looking for alternative sites but want to stay where they are.
Volunteer Ryan van Winkle said: “We have ten days to raise enough money to put down a deposit for a mortgage.”
