Thera (Scotland) recently celebrated five years of supporting people with learning disabilities in Midlothian with a party at Lasswade Rugby Club.
The celebrations included people Thera support, their families and friends, staff and their families, and representatives from groups that have contributed to the success of the organisation locally over the years.
Craig McGregor, managing director of Thera (Scotland), said: “The night was fantastic and, as well as eating great food and dancing, we celebrated several staff achieving their SVQ qualification. Also as part of the celebrations we had a speed meet session which helped break the ice and gave everyone a chance to meet and chat to new people.
“People came from all over Midlothian and further afield to celebrate with us and hopefully made some new connections and some new friends.”
Thera (Scotland) provides personalised, flexible support that enables people to live the lives they choose.
