Lorraine Pascale: How to Be a Better Cook

What’s It All About? Lorraine Pascale isn’t just a pretty face. Yes, she might have spent many of her younger years on the catwalk and rubbing shoulders with the likes of Kate Moss, but her modelling days - for the most part - are in the past and thankfully for us she’s keen to demonstrate that cooking needn’t be a complicated, tie-yourself-up-in-knots affair.

In this new six-part series, Lorraine will be teaching six kitchen novices how to wow their friends and family at a surprise dinner party. 
From knocking up an easy family meal from scratch to creating posh canapés for a hen party, she is taking on the most amateur of cooks and teaching them the tips of the experts.

Her first protégé is 52-year-old builder Tony, who has never cooked a dish in his life.

A three-course meal, then, might sound like a big challenge, but by the end of the show, he will have mastered a Mediterranean-inspired menu, which includes a grilled peach and burrata salad, and crispy salmon with polenta chips and grilled asparagus.

And just to top it all off, there will be a showstopping dessert.
