A 20-year-old man has pled guilty to culpable homicide following the death of a 28-year-old man in Mayfield in November last year.
Craig Don Klark (28), also known as Craig Don Essen, was fatally stabbed following a disturbance outside The Rowantree Inn pub in Mayfield on the evening of Sunday, November 24, 2013.
Following extensive inquiries, Dean Williams was arrested and charged with murder.
Last Friday (March 21) Mr Williams pleaded guilty at Glasgow High Court.
Sentencing has been deferred until April 16.
Detective Inspector Scott Cunningham from the Major Investigation Team said: “My thoughts are with Craig’s family and I pay tribute to them for their dignity and strength shown throughout this tragedy.
“And I sincerely hope this brings some form of closure to them.”
