Man hurt in flat blaze
A MAN was taken to hospital following a blaze at a flat in Portobello last night.
The fire broke out in a chip pan within a ground-floor kitchen in Marlborough Street just after 8pm. The flames had been extinguished before firefighters arrived.
A 38-year-old man, who was suffering from smoke inhalation, was taken to hospital.
