Man in court over alleged car-jacking
A MAN has appeared in court in connection with an alleged car-jacking in the Capital.
The incident on May 31 this year involved a 69-year old woman who was sitting in a parked Honda Civic in Clinton Road when a man jumped in and pushed her out of the vehicle, before driving off at speed and leaving the OAP lying on the ground.
A 45-year-old man has now appeared in court in connection with the alleged incident.
He appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today and was remanded in custody.
