Man pulled pulled from Forth at Granton Harbour

A MAN has been pulled from the Forth at Granton Harbour.

Emergency crews responded after the man was spotted in the water at around 1pm.

A police helicopter and the coastguard were involved in the operation.

A police spokesman said: “Police in Edinburgh responded to Granton Harbour at around 1pm after a male was seen within the Firth of Forth.

“Officers were assisted by the Coastguard in retrieving the male and enquiries are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding this incident.

“The air support unit and dog section were also involved in assisting with this incident.”
