A MAYFIELD woman is appealing for help in finding her mother’s dog.
Lisa Reid (27), is worried about her mother’s 10 year-old Yorkshire Terrier ‘Max’, who has been missing from his Chester Square home in Mayfield since Thursday, April 18 at 11am.
Lisa explained the dog’s last whereabouts.
She said: “My dad came in with him after shopping but Max got out. He usually just comes back after a short time. We have been searching all the local fields, but we can’t see him.
“My partner and I have been looking through all the fields towards Gorebridge. My mum, dad, auntie, brother and everyone we know have been having a look for him.
“My mum is absolutely devastated.
“Even if anyone could shed any light at all on where he has been it would be great.
“We have reported it to the police and been in contact with Rosewell kennels and Edinburgh Cat and Dog home. So if anything comes in they will let us know.
“It’s very unusual for him to be away this long, so we think he has been stolen.”
