DRIVERS are steering clear of a road in Mayfield because it is pitted with deep potholes.
The private access off Eskview Road is proving hazardous to motorists attempting to reach the Coral betting shop and The Rowan Tree Inn.

Owner Norrie Martin said he and Coral had joint responsibility for the access: “I’ve had two shots at repairing the road myself in the last two years, but the bad winters have just broken it up again. It’s been an absolute disaster.”
