Midlothian paramedics celebrate double graduation

They already shared a name and an ambulance – now two-of-a-kind paramedics Tony Haley and Tony Forbes have graduated together.

Affectionately known to colleagues as the ‘two Tones’, they have each received a Bachelor of Science degree from Stirling University.

The two Tones, based at the Scottish Ambulance Service depot in Mayfield, were joined at a graduation ceremony at the university by Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who was being honoured for his contribution to sport with a Honorary Doctorate in Sport.
