Midlothian planning appeals upheld

Three separate planning decisions have been overturned by Midlothian Council’s local review body.

Review body members, having met on October 14 in Dalkeith, unanimously agreed that the decision by a Midlothian Council planning official on February 13, to refuse applicant Philip McCulloch permission to put up a satellite dish and support column at 15 Ironmills Road, Dalkeith, had been wrong.

Similarly, an appeal by Peter Fairbairn, who had been denied retrospective planning permission for entrance gates and a fence at 17 Broomieknowe in Lasswade, was upheld.
