Da Vinci Code rapist Robert Greens is back behind bars after allegedly breaking a restraint order.
The 35-year-old Greens, who served half of his ten-year jail term for the rape of a 19-year-old Dutch student in Rosslyn Chapel in 2005, could now be returned to prison to complete his sentence.
Charged with breaching a Sexual Offences Prevention Order, Greens appeared on petition at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on October 25. No plea or declaration was made and he was remanded in custody and had his case continued.
It is alleged that he visited Penicuik’s Edinburgh Road, a part of the town he was banned from entering under the order.
