Mowat in tram work woe vow

Extra measures need to be introduced to help companies that have been hit hard by the economic downturn and tram work, according to the Conservative group on the city council.

Tory finance spokeswoman Joanna Mowat has called for the city council to recognise the impact that the economic climate and tram work have had and provide further detail on how it will counter it.

She wants a temporary relaxation of parking regulations in the city centre to be considered.

A motion lodged by Cllr Mowat on the issue is due to be considered on Thursday.
