Midlothian’s newest school has been declared officially open.
On November 22, guests at Bonnyrigg’s Burnbrae Primary were treated to pupil performances including samba and woodwind bands, poems and singing.
There was also a presentation of a time capsule by contractors Taylor Wimpey.
Pupils have been filling it with memorable items, which will be buried in the school grounds. Councillor Lisa Beattie (SNP), cabinet member for education, opened the new facility.
