Dalkeith Health Centre has welcomed the first patients through its doors.
The new £3 million two-storey facility was completed on time in early September and will provide 10 consulting rooms, nine community consulting rooms and three nursing consulting rooms, as well as a range of other treatment rooms.
As well as Dalkeith Medical Practice staff, including GPs and nurses, the new health centre will provide a range of services including podiatry, physiotherapy, midwifery, speech therapists and community psychiatric nurses. Accommodation for visiting specialists and voluntary groups is also available.
