Conservationists undertook the delicate task of removing stained glass windows from Rosslyn Chapel last week.
Staff from the Scottish Glass Studios in Glasgow spent two days freeing four windows from the Lady Chapel, one of the last parts of the historic building’s conservation project.
Mark Bambrough, of the Scottish Glass Studios, said: “Due to extreme paint loss, the stained glass windows are being removed to enhance their legibility for the benefit of the congregation and visitors.”
