No fools in day’s golf
FOUR men played golf for 24 hours to raise money for the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS).
John McNiven, Jimmy Martin, David Ross and Billy MacMillan raised £4000 by playing golf for a full day at Glencorse Golf Club. They were inspired to raise money for CHAS as the daughter of one of their friends receives respite care at Rachel House.
Despite raising more than they had hoped, John said: “This was one of the most idiotic things I have ever done.”
