Nurses - ‘thank you Midlothian’

Marie Curie Nurses are thanking everyone in Midlothian for helping to make the charity’s Great Daffodil Appeal a roaring success this year.

Since the month long appeal launched on March 1, volunteer donation collectors have been out in force across Midlothian to encourage people to wear the charity’s daffodil pin and make a donation to support people with a terminal illness.

In Midlothian alone the Great Daffodil Appeal raised a fantastic £6,213.01 which contributed to an Edinburgh and the Lothians grand total of £61,157.

Money raised from the Great Daffodil Appeal helps Marie Curie Nurses to provide more free care to people with terminal illnesses in their own homes and the Marie Curie Hospice, Edinburgh.
