Teed-off customers of a Lasswade hotel and restaurant claim they are forced to run the gauntlet of incoming balls from a neighbouring golf centre.

Missiles are raining down on the car park of the Whitbread-owned Premier Inn hotel and ‘Table Table’ restaurant, near a driving range at the Melville Golf Centre, according to visitors.

Mum of two Jayne Gavana (45) visited the restaurant with her 11-year-old daughter and eight-year-old son recently.

When she returned to her vehicle, she discovered the windscreen had been smashed.
