Paramedic unit by Straiton store?

A PARAMEDIC could be stationed by a Midlothian supermarket to provide emergency medical cover for the local area.

The Scottish Ambulance Service is holding discussions with Asda on the creation of an area for a paramedic response unit at its Straiton store in Pentland Road.

The Advertiser understands that the service is keen to provide a “tactical deployment” site for a paramedic and vehicle.
