Paws for Thought

This week’s Paws for Thought features not one cat, but two.

Smudge and Fudge are a friendly pair who came to Lothian Cat Rescue after their previous owner could no longer look after them.

Two-year-old Smudge, who is tabby and white with a tabby smudge on his nose, is a very affectionate lad, while little black one-year-old Fudge is a more timid female.

They are looking to be rehomed together, and may get on fine with children, but would prefer a house with no other animals, and they would also appreciate a garden at their new home.

Could Smudge and Fudge be the ideal feline companions for you and your family?

Meanwhile, Preston and Roslyn, who featured in a recent Paws for Thought, have found a “fur-ever” home and gone off to live with their new owner.

Lothian Cat Rescue would also like to thank everyone who voted for them in the Feel Good Friends competition on Facebook.

After some tense last-minute voting, LCR ended up as the winners – scooping the first prize of £5,000.
