Paws for thought

This week’s Paws for Thought features a cat that has been at the shelter since May and is desperate for a new loving home.

Smudge is a black and white three-year-old who is aptly named, as he has black smudges on his nose and chin. He is playful and affectionate, but didn’t cope well with small children in his previous home.

However, he may be fine with older children and animals. And he would like a garden to get out and about in.

One of the staff at Lothian Cat Rescue said Smudge had only recently got used to being out and about again: “He has been here for a few months and is now getting out on the grounds here and loving being outside.

“So when he finds a new home he will be comfortable roaming about.”

To help the shelter continue its good work get along to their latest fundraiser on November 3, when Musselburgh Town Hall will play host to another Bazar put on by staff at the Lothian Cat Rescue shelter, from 1.30 - 3pm. Every penny raised goes towards running costs, with the last such event raising £800.

Lothian Cat Rescue shelter has lots of cats desperate for a new loving home.
