Pedestrian injured in Edinburgh bus station incident

All Stagecoach services in the Capital are to terminate at North St David Street after a Stagecoach bus was involved in an incident which injured a pedestrian at Edinburgh Bus Station.

A spokeswoman for Stagecoach said: “One of our vehicles operating on service X54 was involved in an incident near Edinburgh bus station at around 3.30pm today (Wednesday) in which a pedestrian was injured.

“Our immediate thoughts are for the welfare of the person involved.

“Safety is our absolute priority. We are assisting the police with their enquiries into the incident.”

An inspector will be on hand to aid passengers as a result of the disruption.

All services will depart from George Street as a result of the incident.
