EIGHT bands entertained a loyal band of supporters at this year’s T in the Car Park event.

The annual musical festival, at the Craigiebield House Hotel, Penicuik, showcases local and guest bands.

Now in its 11th year, the event raises money for a designated charity. This year, £650 was collected for Help for Heroes.

One of the T in the Car Park organisers Graeme Cassie said the turnout had been affected by the wet weather. It was raining on the morning of the festival and the poor weather returned when the final act, The Taxis, was performing.

The eight bands showcasing their musical talents included Bill Lumbdsen, Kings of Cheeze, Gaitoraid, The Rising Souls, KB Rebel, Rayne, The Vibe and headlining act, The Taxis, which hails from Italy.

Thanks go to everyone who supported this year’s concert including soldiers from 2SCOTS, who pitched tents and a bouncy castle.
