The deadline is fast approaching for groups in the Dalkeith area to promote healthy eating initiatives.
A total of £13,000 is available through ‘Food Glorious Food’, a joint Midlothian Council/NHS Lothian project, which will support access to, and promote awareness of, affordable, good quality food.
The cash will support groups in the Woodburn/Dalkeith area aiming to close the outcome gap in health, learning and economic circumstances and improve health through promoting healthy eating, supporting community growing schemes and other food related activities.
Applicants can apply for up £2,500 for their project, and the deadline for applications to be submitted is Monday, April 3.
