Emergency services called after woman injured on Cramond Island

She is believed to have injured her knee

Emergency services are dealing with an injured woman on Cramond Island.

Pictures and video sent to the Evening News show the Coastguard Search and Rescue team and the Scottish Ambulance Service at the scene.

A spokesperson for the Coastguard said that a woman had a suspected knee injury on the island, and the call was made for help at around 5.45pm today (Wednesday).

The emergency services are still in attendance.
