First pictures show a P&O ferry docking in Leith during lockdown

A P&O ferry has arrived in Leith where it will remain throughout the lockdown, with a second ferry currently anchored near Fred Olsen ships in the Firth of Forth.

These pictures show the first ferry arriving at the docks.

A spokesperson for Forth Ports, the owner of Leith docks said: “We will be providing a safe haven for two P&O ferries.

“We have a very strong relationship with P&O and will be storing their ferries during the coronavirus lockdown.”

P&O recently confirmed that they will be extending the suspension of sailings until the end of July.
