Hibs shirt worn by legend George Best goes up for sale for whopping £3,800

The framed shirt includes a hand signed picture of the footballer who played on the team for 325 days, playing 22 times and scoring three goals.
On the eBay listing, the seller wrote: “Hibernian Bukta 1979/80 framed George Best match worn football shirt complete with a hand signed George Best photograph.

Hide Ad“The 41-year-old shirt itself is in immaculate condition. George Best only wore number 11 in the games he played whilst at Hibs.
“He wore long sleeved 11 whilst playing apart from when he paraded he wore short sleeve. Long sleeved shirts were only worn by players at this time and no adult sizes were available of this shirt
“This shirt is extremely rare, almost impossible to find and is an incredible piece of history. I have had this item independently valued before being posted on here to understand the items true worth within an auction environment.”
On top of the £3,800 price tag, the winning bid will also have to pay a £35 delivery fee on top of that.
