Lasswade care home appoints new manager

Staff at Barchester Healthcare’s Drummond Grange care home in Lasswade have welcomed a new general manager to head up the team.

Alina Brehar will oversee the running of the 114 bed home and will be responsible for a team of 161. Prior to starting in this position Alina Brehar was the deputy manager of the home for the last seven years. She started working in Drummond Grange Care Home in 2008 as a registered nurse.

Speaking about her new role, she said: “I am delighted to join the team here at Drummond Grange Care Home and I am enjoying meeting and getting to know our residents.
