Little Voices Big Stars’ show, ‘The Magical Music of Christmas’, features kids as young as four and adult members of the group taking part in a fun concert from the comfort of their homes for all ages to enjoy.

The Bonnyrigg-based group put this together to help raise funds for the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity.

The talented singers smashed their initial fundraising target of £500 just days after the video went on the group’s Facebook page, with more than 5000 times already.

Vicki Beveridge is one of the coaches at Little Voices Big Stars.

She said: “Christmas is usually the busiest time of year for us. “You can usually find our group performing at the Edinburgh official light switch on, at the dome, at local nursing homes and carol singing for the local residents.

“However, this year due to the pandemic we haven’t been able to run any classes since March.

“So, putting this concert together has been a challenge as all the participants had to record their own part at home without the coaches being there to help them.

“But it’s for such an amazing charity that it has definitely been worth every second and we hope to raise as much as we can for The Edinburgh Children’s Hospital.

“The coaches prepared this by sending over all the song parts, guide tracks and lyrics to all who took part in the concert to help them practice.

“Once they had recorded there parts coach Yvonne then spent hours and hours piecing it all together to produce the Magical Music of Christmas.

“We are so proud of each and every single person who took part in this. We hope that after the year we have all had it may bring some happiness and smiles to the people in our local community.”
