Marti Pellow: Former Wet Wet Wet singer to visit Dunfermline on Greatest Hits tour

Marti Pellow has announced at 14-date Greatest Hits tour for 2021 – and it includes a visit to Dunfermline’s Alhambra Theatre.

The former Wet Wet Wet frontman kicks off the tour in Aberdeen on November 11, before heading to Dunfermline (Nov 13) and Glasgow (Nov 15).

The 56-year-old, whose monster hits with Wet Wet Wet include Love Is All Around and Goodnight Girl, has been entertaining fans on Facebook during lockdown with several impromptu performances.

Speaking about the tour, the 56-year-old said: “Throughout lockdown I was inundated by messages from fans asking me to organise a tour once we come out of these terrible times.

“Twelve million people tuned in for the lockdown sessions and I covered songs that were either fan requests or personal favourites.

“I’m now looking forward to including some of them in the shows, alongside tracks from new album Stargazer.

“I finally got to write the songs that let me pay homage to my heroes and I can’t wait to perform them live.
