New soup can art has all the ingredients for an Edinburgh derby meal

Kyylo, 34, has added a twist to Andy Warhol’s famous soup can designs by recreating them in the colours of Hibs and Hearts.
The Hibees soup can painting includes the club’s nickname Cabbage and Ribs as the flavour while the Tynecastle club’s canvas features Jam Tart.

Hide AdThe self-taught stencil artist is now planning on adding to the collection in the run up to Christmas with plans to include Rangers, Celtic and Aberdeen designs.
Kyylo, from Musselburgh, East Lothian, said: “I’ve only been doing this for about a year but I’ve been into drawing since I was a young boy.
“Andy Warhol’s art has always been something I’ve been interested in and I thought the play on words with the soup cans would be popular.
“I’ve been delighted with the response and the Hibs ones have almost sold out and the Hearts paintings are well on the way too.

Hide Ad“And as they have proved so popular I am planning to do more teams in the run up to Christmas.”
And impressed fans have been quick to add their approval after Kyylo released details of the paintings last week.
Hibs fan Alan Thornton said: “Wow - they are amazing. Love the colours and great idea. Will have to give the wife a hint for my Christmas.”
Jambo James Jeffrey added: “They look brilliant. Wonderful design and the Hearts one will look great up on my wall.”
