Speaking to the Evening News, Nina said: “I grew up in Scotland but my mother is Swedish, so I was over there visiting family and had a writing session earlier this year where I wrote the song.
“I then sent it to a few people and it somehow made it’s way to Deacon Phillippe.
“I love what he did with it," she adds. “He’s so talented and only 16 years old!”

Hide AdNina has firmly established herself as one of the brightest young talents in UK music, with a string of hits to her name – but she admits she was starstruck when she found out Deacon’s mum is none other than A-list actress Resse.
She said: “I love Reese. I’m a big fan of hers. I recently watched The Morning Show with her and Jennifer Aniston on Apple TV and it’s probably my favourite thing I’ve seen her in.
“His mum seems to love the song, which is a bonus. That’s bucket list.”
Nina returned to London just before lockdown and took part in the Evening News' My Life In Lockdown series, alongside the likes of Ian Rankin, Gail Porter, Fish and Withered Hand.
