Lyndsay Wood, sales executive at Greenlaw Mill said: “The weeks of lockdown were undoubtedly challenging for families right across Scotland, and we hope that giving some of our young residents the opportunity to work with us to design a flag to welcome new visitors to their development was an unusual task that kept them busy for a while.

“From the designs that we received, the children seemed to have enjoyed tackling their brief to create a bold and colourful design.

“We are absolutely delighted with the winning design by Precious, which now flies every day and provides a cheerful welcome to homeowners and new visitors to the development.”

Kirsty McGill, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland said: “Being part of the local communities in which we build our new homes is very important to us.
