Police have launched an urgent public for assistance in tracing a missing 65-year-old man in Edinburgh.

David Wheeler was last seen in the Alemoor Park area of Edinburgh around 3am today (Friday) and there are concerns for his welfare.

David is described as 5’8 to 5’9 in height, medium build, glasses, he has thick grey hair which is normally tied back in a ponytail.

Anyone who may have seen David since this time, or who has any information on his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 0720 of the 10/07/2020.
