Shocking video shows aftermath of fire which started in Edinburgh child's bedroom in early hours of morning
and live on Freeview channel 276
The fire took place on Ransome Gardens in the early hours of Friday morning and has destroyed most of the property’s contents.
Three children, their mother and their cat were forced to flee the property as smoke enveloped the household.

Hide AdThere are not believed to be any casualties and it is understood emergency services are continuing to inspect the scene.
A video has been shared of the damage to help raise awareness of house fires.
In the video the walls are covered in black soot and several items can be seen to have been damaged by the heat. It is understood that the fire was so intense that it melted the fire alarms in several rooms.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has been contacted for comment regarding the incident.
