West Lothian Police issue urgent appeal after girl, 17, goes missing over weekend

A 17-YEAR-OLD girl has gone missing in West Lothian after being dropped off at McDonald's in Livingston.

Family and friends of Chantelle Deafley, from Kirknewton, are becoming increasingly concerned about her.

And police are appealing for assistance in tracing the teenager, who was last seen on Saturday.

She was dropped off at the fast food restaurant about 11.50am and she has not been seen since.

Chantelle is described as being 4 feet 11 inches tall, of slim build, with mousey brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a brown red Armani jacket, black Adidas hooded top, black leggings and black Converse trainers.

She is also known to have a mobile phone in her possession.

Inspector Notman from Livingston Police station said: “Chantelle has been missing for some time now and her family and friends are understandably worried about her. We have a number of police resources out looking for Chantelle and I am now looking for the assistance from the public in order to trace her.”
