Pizza Hut in hours battle
RESIDENTS, businesses and councillors have lodged objections against an application to allow Pizza Hut in Morningside Road to remain open until 3am.
Those living near to the takeaway have objected on the grounds that the late opening would lead to considerable noise.
Meadows/Morningside councillor Marilyne MacLaren has written to the licensing department saying: “I can see no merit in granting a licence to extend operating hours, when the establishment is in the middle of a residential area, and would urge you to make no alteration to these hours.”
