Police appeal to find missing Bonnyrigg man

Police are appealing for information to help trace a man reported missing in Bonnyrigg.

Andrew Durie was last seen at his home address in Pentland Road at around 10am on Friday, July 11.

The 28-year-old has not returned and hasn’t made contact with friends or family since.

He was reported missing on Monday, July 14 and officers have been conducted local enquiries to establish his whereabouts.

Andrew is described as white, 6ft tall with a broad build, medium-length dirty blond hair and glasses. He is believed to have been wearing blue jeans and sand-coloured boots.

Inspector Stuart Reid said: “Andrew knows the Midlothian area very well and is able to travel independently.

“However, as he has not been seen in almost a week we are keen to locate him as soon as possible and ensure he is safe and well.

“Anyone who believes they have seen him since Friday, or who has information to can help us find him is asked to contact police immediately.”

Anyone who can assist police with their investigation is asked to come forward. Those with information can contact Police Scotland on 101.
