Police work earns praise

LOTHIAN and Borders Police have found three-quarters of residents who reported incidents were “satisfied” with how they were dealt with.

The force survey, involving hundreds of people, found 56 per cent were “very satisfied”, while 20 per cent were “fairly satisfied” between January and March.

The survey also found that 63 per cent of respondents felt they were kept adequately informed about the progress of any investigation.
