Politics takes centre stage
AN evening of “discussion, performance and provocation” will take place at the Scottish Parliament on December 15 as part of the National Theatre of Scotland’s Staging the Nation series.
Thorn in Their Side: Nurturing the Thistle of Scottish Political Theatre will see Graham McLaren interviewing David MacLennan and Linda MacKenney about the historical context of modern political theatre. Nine artists will also perform a three-minute “provocation”.
Staging the Nation is a year-long series of events being performed by the National Theatre of Scotland.
