This week's episode of the Edinburgh Briefing podcast looks at the hotel and tourism industry in the Capital.

Last week, the Evening News reported that numbers of hotel rooms have leapt by almost 50 per cent in a decade, leading to concerns around over-provision from the industry.

A further story showed that around 61 hotels are in the pipeline for the city, according to a report from the council, representing 6,338 rooms.
