Midlothian South, Tweeddale and Lauderdale declaration: Scottish Parliament elections 2021

The winner of the Midlothian South, Tweeddale and Lauderdale seat has been announced.

Christine Grahame held on to her seat for the SNP, with her majority over the Conservatives increased to 6,826.

Full result: Dominic Ashmole (Green) 2,154; Michael Banks (Vanguard) 67; Christine Grahame (SNP) 19,807; Shona Haslam (Con) 12,981; AC May (LD) 2,615; Katherine Sangster (Lab) 5,410.

The turnout in both the Midlothian South, Tweeddale and Lauderdale Constituency and Regional List votes was 66 per cent, up seven per cent from the last Holyrood elections.
