CAMPAIGNERS calling for a convicted rapist’s removal from Midlothian have taken their protest to the streets of Dalkeith.
A convoy of vehicles drove slowly around the town on Monday, affecting the movement of traffic in its busy centre.
Horns sounded and protesters waved placards and shouted “Get The Beast Out Of Midlothian”.
The two-hour show of defiance was followed by a march from Dalkeith Country Park to Midlothian Council’s headquarters.
