TALENTED young artists will soon see their work exhibited in Newtowngrange.
Midlothian’s annual Schools’ Art Exhibition will take place at the Power House in the National Mining Museum from June 6-10.
The exhibition will feature a wide range of art, including painting, design and sculpture.
Colin Taylor, Midlothian Council’s head of education, said: “I am really impressed by the quality of artwork produced by our primary school pupils for this year’s exhibition.
“I encourage everyone to go along to the Mining Museum to see the creative abilities of our primary students for themselves.”
The Schools’ Art Exhibition is organised annually by Midlothian Council’s arts and creativity team and is now into its 13th year.
The art chosen alternates yearly between primary and secondary schools and this year’s exhibition will showcase the artistic talents of students from local primary schools.
The free exhibition will be open to the public from 10am to 5pm each day, including Sunday.
