Quiz tunes into Hall bid
THE LAIRD and Dog Inn in Lasswade is set to hold a music quiz to help raise funds for the proposed Scottish Music Hall of Fame, which will showcase talent and nurture future stars.
DJ and former STV presenter Ewan MacLeod will host the national Scottish Music Pub Quiz on Monday from 9pm.
Maclay Inns, which operates the Laird and Dog, has teamed up with Ewan to host the quiz, which will see music lovers from 20 of its sister pubs pitted against each other.
Teams of four can enter the quiz, for £1 per person, and compete for the chance to win a £40 gift voucher to spend in any Maclay venue, and progress to the semi-finals.
